Mehr Anerkennung für die Vorsorge, mehr Ruhm und Lob für die Prävention gegen Corona: Das ist das Ziel des Fotojournalisten Patrick Junker und seines Projekts »There is glory in prevention«. Seit Beginn der Pandemie im März fotografiert Junker Pflegekräfte und Ärzte bei ihrer Arbeit im Stuttgarter Marienhospital und im Corona-Testmobil. Er begleitet Erkrankte und ihre Angehörigen, portraitiert Menschen, die mit den Folgen des Lockdowns kämpfen und solche, die sich engagieren.

There is glory in prevention

More recognition for prevention, more fame and praise for prevention against Corona: That is the goal of photojournalist Patrick Junker and his project "There is glory in prevention". Since the beginning of the pandemic in March, Junker has been photographing nurses and doctors at their work in Stuttgart's Marienhospital and in the Corona test mobile. He accompanies sick people and their relatives, portrays people who are struggling with the consequences of the lockdown and those who are getting involved.
