Was ist Realität und was Illusion? In den Fotografien von Boris Storz verschmilzt beides in der Interpretation der Betrachter. Mit seinen Bildern gibt er den Menschen Raum, ihre Fantasie spielen zu lassen und lädt sie ein, ihre ersten Eindrücke durch genaueres Hinsehen zu überprüfen. Die Bilder erfordern eine bewusste Auseinandersetzung mit der Vorstellung von Realität und deren Begriffsverständnis. Durch die ungewohnte Vogelperspektive und die daraus resultierende grafische, zweidimensionale Wirkung lassen sich die Bilder erst nach und nach erschließen. Mittels des Perspektivenwechsels fordert Storz die Beobachter des Motivs auf, das scheinbar Selbstverständliche zu hinterfragen. Wer sich mit ein wenig Geduld auf diesen Prozess einlässt, dem eröffnet sich aus der abstrahierten Ansicht mehr und mehr die gesamte Komposition der Aufnahmen.

What is reality and what is illusion? In the photographs of Boris Storz reality and illusion merge through the viewer's interpretation. With his pictures he gives people space to let their imaginations play and invites them to check their first impressions by taking a closer look. The pictures require a conscious examination of the notion of reality and its conceptual understanding. Due to the unusual bird's-eye view and the resulting two-dimensional graphic effect, the pictures can only be „digested“ little by little. By means of a change of perspective, Storz challenges the observers of the motif to question the seemingly self-evident. Those who engage in this process with a little patience will find that the abstract view increasingly opens up the entire composition of the photographs.
