Die Serie entstand im Frühjahr 2020, als unser gewohntes, eingespieltes Leben erstmalig komplett ausgebremst wurde. Die Strassen und Plätze waren plötzlich „leer“, ohne Lebendigkeit, Farbe. Ich bin diesem neuen Gefühl, dem Begreifen von „was ist jetzt eigentlich?“ nachgegangen. Kamera und Hochstativ haben mich auf dieses faszinierende, stille und zugleich beängstigend surreale „Leer“ blicken lassen.

EMPTY

The series was created in the spring of 2020, when our usual, well-rehearsed lives were completely slowed down for the first time. The streets and squares were suddenly "empty", without liveliness, colour. I followed this new feeling, the comprehension of "what is it now? pursued. The camera and the tripod brought me to this fascinating, still and at the same time frighteningly surreal "emptiness".
